Black Marquina is a Spanish black marble recognised for its deep black background and irregular white calcite veining. Its strong contrast works equally well in graphic contemporary interiors and more classical schemes.
Vein pattern, colour density and natural markings vary from tile to tile and from one production batch to another. Product photographs show the general character of the stone rather than the exact appearance of every piece.
Black Marquina can be considered for interior floors, walls, bathrooms, staircases, fireplaces and bespoke decorative elements. For kitchen worktops or other exposed surfaces, its sensitivity to acids, scratching and patina must be taken into account.
